Stewmac kit #2

I put a lot of effort into making this inlay stand out. I'm happy about how it turned out, despite this is my first inlay

​Beautiful Rosewood back with a herringbone back strip.

The schellac start to shine. 

It tedious and labour intensive, but very rewarding in the end.

The inlay was hand cut and the fretboard was routed out by hand with a dremel. It took me about 40 hours from start to finish. 

​The top is tuned, and the vox is ready to be closed.

Here you can see the top being glued to the back and sides. This works great with the kit guitars, but I use a different approach now when I build i moulds.
