Guitar # 8

This Parlor has an European light bearclaw spruce top. Beautiful Ziricote back, sides, headstock overlay and backstrap. It has Maple binding, herringbone rosette and purfling. On this i tried out building a bolt on neck in Maple, that worked out really well. Bridge and fretboard is Macassar Ebony. The tuners are Steinberger Gearless Tuners with a 1:40 ratio.

I experimented with overbuilding this a little bit. It has a good and powerful voice.

Special Parlor

I like the contrast in this little beauty.

Unique back

I've been looking at this back a lot. When I turn it on the side I see a landscape that reminds me of the barren lands around Artillery Lake in Canada.

Hand carved bridge

I tend to choose a pyramid style brige on most of my guitars. It makes a light bridge with elegant design.

Through tuners

I got creative and put Steinberger Gearless Tuners on the headstock here. I

I'm not sure what to think of it, but lean towards giving it thumbs up.

Close up

I did my best to make the fretboard match the soundhole, almost there, but not perfect.

Backstrap

The backstrap is laminated and fades out in the first fret. The tuners are very precise.
