Guitar #3

This is a Stewmac 000 kit with Rosewood back and sides and Torrefied top.

I made this guitar as a gift to a log cabin builder and a troubadour that was very generous with advices while I built my log cabin.

I custom made some inlays to make it personal to him.

There's still a lot of work in a kit guitar, I probably used 150 to 200 hours on this one.

It's a beautiful piece of East Indian Rosewood that came in this kit. I remember getting really excited when I saw it.

I enjoy using hand tools. Here the planer is used to shape the fretboard.

These inlays fit the owner really well.

Work in progress on the neck, it has a dual action trussrod.
